Costa Blanca is located on the east coast of Spain. It is very popular for a number of reasons, including the activities that it offers and the weather it gives. Costa Blanca is very popular among couples and families, however young groups also tend to appear in the peak seasons for the nightlife. The beaches in Costa Blanca are very popular with miles of fine, golden sand and gorgeous blue seas. Many of the beaches have been awarded with the European Blue Flag for cleanliness. There are many hotels, villas and apartments on offer to customers. The hotels range from 1-5-stars and offer everything from bed and breakfast to all-inclusive. The transfer time is around 1 hour so you have plenty of time to take in your surroundings and get a feel for the location of the resort.
Costa Blanca – plenty to see and do
Costa Blanca is home to many activities to keep both tourists and locals occupied. There are many water sports that you can try including jet-skiing, water-skiing, parascending, windsurfing, snorkelling, scuba diving and sailing. If you would prefer to stay out of the water, then golf is a popular choice with over 15 courses located in and around Costa Blanca. Tuition is available and there are facilities for you to hire all of the equipment. Hiking is definitely recommended as it is a great way to see the mountainous landscapes of Costa Blanca and experience some amazing views. There are many theme parks in Costa Blanca such as a water park and a safari park. These are all very popular with families but everyone is welcome and enjoys the experience.
Costa Blanca – plenty of cuisines for you to choose from
Costa Blanca offers a lot of Spanish cuisine. Although this is the favourite, you will also fin many Italian, British, Chinese and Indian restaurants. There is a lot of seafood and a lot of Tapas on offer in many places. The nightlife of Costa Blanca is exceptional and a favourite with tourists every year. There is karaoke, cocktails, live entertainment, live music and clubs with various music. There is so much on offer that you are guaranteed not to get bored in most of the resorts of an evening. If you would prefer to stay in, then you will find that many of the accommodations offer entertainment programs in the evenings. There are plenty of places to shops and many different products on offer. These include clothing, designer clothing, jewellery, souvenirs, electronic goods and small crafts. The public transport around Costa Blanca is brilliant with many buses taking you around all of the resorts. There are also many taxis that are available, offering cheap rates.
Costa Blanca – exceptional summer weather
Costa Blanca is another destination that gives off hot temperatures during the summer and has mild winters. During the summer, temperatures have been known to reach 40°C, although they mainly stay around 30°C. July and August are the best months to visit Costa Blanca, although the sun does shine all year round. You will find over 12 hours of sunshine a day during the summer, with 6-7 hours a day in winter. Between March and May, you will find that some rainfall occurs and temperatures drop slightly to 21°C. Winter temperatures only go down to 17°C, showing that Costa Blanca is a perfect year round destination.
