Benissa is a very popular destination with people who enjoy water sports. This is because there are facilities and the correct weather conditions for scuba diving, snorkelling, windsurfing, water-skiing, sailing and fishing. Walking and cycling are very popular and are great ways to see the mountains and other scenery around Benissa, as is horse-riding. Golfing holidays are also very popular among both beginners and experts as there are many golfing resorts nearby. Benissa – perfect summer weather all year round

Summers in Benissa are very popular as they are so warm. Temperatures have been know to reach 40°C although they are normally around 30°C. There are clear blue skies to enjoy and cool breezes that help to keep you comfortable both day and night. They also make the perfect conditions for the water sports as the water is at a warm temperature. July and August see the best weather with around 11 hours of sunshine a day. If there is rain in the summer then it is over and cleared about in a few hours so you can get back to sunbathing again afterwards. Winters in Benissa are very mild and the minimum temperature is only 12°C. Most of the time, there are very sunny skies, however there is a higher chance of rainfall. The most rain falls in January, however you are still likely to see around 5 hours of sunshine a day.
