Albir - Located between Benidorm and Altea

Albir is very much a family resort as it is small and perfect for relaxing and spending quality time together. Many couples also enjoy the stay here. Average time taken for transfers to Albir is 55 minutes, so you have plenty of time to take in your surroundings and more of an understanding about the location of your resort. The resorts beaches are uncrowded and are full of fine sands, with gorgeous crystal clear waters. Albir beach has even been awarded with the European Blue Flag for cleanliness. You will find both hotels and apartments in Albir offering everything from 2-5-stars. You will also find a range of board basis from self-catering to all-inclusive. The hotels all have many facilities to cater to everyone's needs.

Albir – plenty to see and do in and around Albir

You will find many water sports in Albir, which are very popular among other visitors. The sports include windsurfing, water-skiing, parasailing, jet-skiing, snorkelling and scuba diving. There are also a few children's playgrounds for you to visit both day and night. For more activities, visit Aqualandia which is a water park located in Benidorm. Go-karting is also very popular as well as golf, and you will find plenty of courses near Albir. Albir lighthouse is a popular sight to see and takes around an hour overall.

Albir – plenty of fine cuisines on offer

You will find many bars and restaurants in Albir to keep you occupied in the evenings. The food is of a very good quality, with Chinese, Indian, Italian and Spanish cuisines being offered. You will also find a wide variety of drinks available, all sold at a reasonable price. The nightlife mainly consists of entertainment in hotels and bars and restaurants, however if you do feel like a more lively evening, then take a visit to Benidorm. There are plenty of supermarkets in the resort, however if you were looking for something more than groceries, then head to Benidorm where you will find clothing, jewellery, electronic goods and souvenirs. Taxis are available around the resort and you are able to get taxis to and from Benidorm for a night out. Taxis are also very reasonably priced, as are the buses that take you to various other resorts.

Albir – perfect summer weather

Albir is home to some brilliant weather. You will find that October sees the most rainfall, July and August see the best temperatures both day and night and July shows off the most hours of sunlight. The resort is crowded in July and August due to the hot weather with temperatures reaching a minimum of 27°C. Sea temperatures remain high and from June until October, the sea is full and water sports are perfect to do. From October to April, you will find that the weather is slightly cloudy but overall it is sunny. However, from May to September you will see cloudless blue skies and bright sunshine.
