This historic hotel is housed in a building dating back to the beginning of the 19th century and comprises a total of 90 rooms spread over 4 floors. Facilities include a foyer with a reception area, a safe, a currency exchange desk and a lift in addition to a bar and an à la carte restaurant offering some exquisite, traditionally English cuisine. Business guests may make use of the various, technically advanced seminar rooms and there is a car park on offer to those arriving by road, limited on site with only 28 spaces (fees may apply).
This hotel is located in the historic city of Exeter, close to the city walls which are well worth a visit, and within 800 m of the main train station. Many of the famous sights including St. Peter's cathedral and the Guildhall, the oldest public building in England, are within walking distance and there are excellent links to the M5 motorway.

An excellent à la carte dinner menu, created by our head chef, Franck Gautherot, is available nightly from 7.00 pm in Drakes Restaurant, whilst a more informal bar menu is served in Drakes Bar.
