#The Cruise

The Iberotel Crown Emperor operates several different cruise schedules to cater to a variety of guests, whether you are looking for shorter or longer cruise. Options available include the 4-day/3-night Aswan/Luxor, the 5-day/4-night Luxor/Aswan that embarks on Thursday/Monday and the 8-day/7-night Luxor/Luxor cruise that also embarks on Thursday/Monday.
Day 1: ASWAN
You will begin your cruise before lunch then in the afternoon; you will discover the gigantic high Dam; the unfinished Obelisque and Philae temple dedicated to the goddess Isis. Ending the day with dinner and overnight on board in Aswan.
LUXOR (5-day/4-night)
Check in before lunch and lunch on board. In the afternoon you will start your splendid cruise by visiting the East Bank of Luxor where you will discover the complexes of Karnak & Luxor temples before heading back to the ship for dinner on board and overnight in Luxor.
LUXOR (8-day/7-night)
Starting with lunch on board you will then get the afternoon to yourself to get use to your new surroundings, then there is dinner and an overnight stay on the ship.
Day 2: KOM OMBO - EDFU
In the early morning, your ship will sail to Kom Ombo where you will visit the unusual double temple dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek and the god Haroeris. You can then enjoy lunch on board before getting to admire the beautiful scenery of the Nile while sailing to Edfu where you will discover the huge temple dedicated to the God Horus by horse carriage and tour it with your guide. Be sure to visit the colourful local bazaars on your way where you can buy your souvenirs before heading back to the ship for dinner.
LUXOR - ESNA (5-day/4-night)
After breakfast, you will disembark for exploring the mysteries of the West Bank of Luxor; here you can see the Great Valley of the Kings and Queens where generations of pharaohs & nobles were buried in splendid crypts cut into the cliffs and guarded by the huge colossi of Memnon. You will then visit the temple of Queen Hatchepsut before heading back to the ship for lunch. The afternoon is for your own leisure while sailing to Edfu via Esna with overnight on board the ship.
LUXOR - EDFU (8-day/7-night)
After breakfast you will visit the East Bank of Luxor where you can walk among the colossal temple of Amun Ra & the avenue of the sphinxes between the Karnak and Luxor temples, an experience that you will never forget.
Back on board for lunch then in the afternoon the ship will sail to Edfu via Esna, with dinner and overnight on board also.

Day 3: LUXOR
On your final day of exploration it is time to visit the West Bank of Luxor: explore the great valleys of the Kings and Queens where generations of Pharaohs and Nobles were buried in crypts cut into the cliffs and guarded by the two huge Colossi of Memnon. You will then visit the temple of Queen Hatchepsut. Then it's back to the ship for lunch before getting to enjoy the afternoon in the East Bank of Luxor: walk among the pillars of the temple dedicated to the god Amun Ra and along the avenue of the Sphinxes at Karnak and Luxor temples, an experience which you will treasure for the rest of your life. Lastly there is dinner and overnight in Luxor.
EDFU - KOM OMBO - ASWAN (5-day/4-night)
Enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Nile while having breakfast on your way to Edfu. In Edfu you will discover the huge temple dedicated to the god Horus by horse carriage and tour it with your guide. Enjoy your lunch while sailing to Kom Ombo where you will visit the magnificent unusual double temple dedicated to the god Sobek and the god Haroeris. Then finish the day with dinner and overnight in Kom Ombo.
EDFU - KOM OMBO (8-day/7-night)
Today you get to discover the huge temple dedicated to the God Horus by horse carriage and tour it with your guide. Be sure to visit the colourful local bazaars on your way where you can buy your souvenirs before heading back to the ship for lunch. The ship then sails to Kom Ombo with dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4: LUXOR
The final day on the ship where after breakfast it is time to check out.
ASWAN (5-day/4-night) (8-day/7-night)
Upon arriving in Aswan you will go off shore for the visits of the gigantic high dam, unfinished Obelisque and splendid Philae temple of Isis the mother goddess. Then it's back to the ship for lunch before getting to enjoy more beauty of the Nile while sailing around the Elephantine Island in a felucca, finally dinner and overnight in Aswan.

Day 5: ASWAN (5 day/4-night)
The final day on the ship where after breakfast it is time to check out.

Enjoy your day free at leisure.
In the afternoon, you will discover more beauty of the Nile by felucca boat and visit the Botanical Garden: a peaceful paradise full of shady trees, beautiful flowers and unusual plants hosting colourful exotic birds on the Kitchener island. Then it's back to the ship for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: LUXOR
