The Crown Jewel Nile Cruise is a 7-day/8-night experience that departs every Saturday from Luxor during the months of March till October.
Day 1: Luxor
This is the first day of departure and will be an afternoon of leisure on board the ship with lunch and dinner included.
Day 2: Luxor - Esna
After breakfast you will visit the East Bank of Luxor where you can walk among the colossal temple of Amun Ra & the avenue of the sphinxes between the Karnak and Luxor temples, an experience that you will never forget.
Back on board for lunch then in the afternoon the ship will sail to Edfu via Esna, with dinner and overnight on board also.
Day 3: Esna - Edfu - Kom Ombo
After breakfast sail to Edfu. In Edfu you will discover the huge temple dedicated to the God Horus “The Mighty God of the all-seeing eye, represented by the falcon by horse carriage and tour it with your guide. Then visit the colourful local bazaars on your way where you can buy your souvenirs before back on the ship for lunch. Next is to sail to Kom Ombo and Aswan with overnight on board.
Day 4: Aswan
Today, the boat sails to Aswan. Once in Aswan; you will go off shore for the visits of the gigantic high dam, unfinished Obelisque and splendid Philae temple of Isis the mother goddess of day & moisture. Then there is dinner and overnight aboard the ship in Aswan.
Day 5: Aswan
There is an optional visit to Abu Simbel by air should you wish on this day. In the afternoon, you will discover more beauty of the Nile by felucca boat and visit the Botanical Garden: a peaceful paradise full of shady trees, beautiful flowers & unusual plants hosting colourful exotic birds on the Kitchener island. Back to the ship for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Kom Ombo - Luxor
In the early morning, you will sail to Kom Ombo, where you will visit the unusual double temple dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek & the goddess Haroeris. While sailing to Luxor you can enjoy lunch on board the ship as well as dinner and overnight aboard the ship.
Day 7: Luxor
After breakfast it is time to focus on the West Bank of Luxor: explore the great valleys of the Kings & Queens where generations of Pharaohs & Nobles were buried in crypts cut into the cliffs & guarded by the two huge Colossi of Memnon. You will then visit the temple of Queen Hatchepsut before dinner and overnight in Luxor.
Day 8: Luxor
The final day on the ship where you can have breakfast on board before disembarking.
