Sometimes, staying in a hotel can be more of a stress than you'd expect - having a breakfast, dinner and bed time can be all too much like living with your parents again! So it's little wonder that the Sofia Beach Apartments are a popular alternative for holidays in Corfu. Set in beautiful gardens and close to the centre of town, these great apartments are comfortably furnished and easily affordable. They're a perfect choice for a holiday with your friends, as each apartment can sleep four adults. Children are welcome too, so families can stay here as well. As it's only a few minutes' walk away from the town centre, it really is the ideal hotel for any holiday.
The transfer time to this three star hotel is about an hour, and the 23 mile trip ought to fly by. When you arrive, you'll notice that there are just five apartments, so you know that you won't feel too crowded. Although the hotel has no pool of its own, you can make use of the pool at the neighbouring apartment complex and the beach is only a few minutes' walk away. The apartments are surrounded by a beautiful garden, and it's the ideal place to relax with that book you've been meaning to read!
Each apartment has two bedrooms with twin beds, but you can easily push them together for a double if you're here as a couple! There's also a living area with a kitchenette for those days that you can't face the walk into town and want to make your own dinner. Even if you are feeling a bit lazy, it's not too far to walk though, and in only a few minutes you'll be right at the heart of the resort for some great bars and restaurants.
Distance from Airport:
All rooms come with air conditioning and a fully equipped kitchenette including toaster, kettle and hob.
Location and Resort:
- Corfu is an amazing island, famous for its fantastic weather and great food. If you fancy a spot of golf, there is a really fantastic course only a few miles from the hotel. If that's not your style, why not visit the beautiful gardens at Achillieon and take a walk around the castle? Of course, you'll want to hit the beaches, and there are so many good ones it can be hard to pick. We prefer the ones that offer water sports - and of course pedaloes for hire!
Eating and Drinking:
There isn't a restaurant or bar at the hotel, but it's only a few minutes' walk into Sidari for some great bars and restaurants. If you don't want to go that far, many of the restaurants at neighbouring hotels are available for non-guests.
There is no pool but you can use the one at the neighbouring apartment complex. There's also a beach nearby.
The hotel is ideal for groups, and would suit families as well.
