Majestic Barriere

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel Majestic Barrier, the location was excellent just a few minutes from the train station and bus terminals. The staff were courteous and friendly. The hotel was clean and very interesting on the eye, particulary in Reception with the beautiful chandeliers and flower decorations. The rooms at the back of the hotel do not enjoy a good view and I would advise anyone to ensure that a room at the front of the hotel is booked or a view overlooking the pool and high up to avoid any noise which will add enjoyment to your stay. There are building works from a major building project next to the left hand side of the hotel as you look at it and although this did not impact on our stay at all because we were on the other side of the building, I can imagine that this may be unpleasant on this side of the building for any staying guests. The breakfast was adequate not particulary outstanding.

The weather was variable during our stary and it would have been really good to have been able to use an indoor pool, although I did manage to have one outdoor swim. I thought the spa facilities could have been better.
