This establishment, for which the term ""resort"" is rather misleading, offers its guests the best value in the city. A steep, athletic climb will bring guests to Hawke's Nest, the colonial bungalow with its commanding position over the town, now re-named Dekeling Resort. Prayer flags flutter around the 120 year old 2-storey building with its green roof and bay windows. This air-conditioned country house with its suites offers guests simple comfort and effortless charm with limitless privacy. Meals are served in a dining room.
This guesthouse lies in the heart of the tourist quarter of Darjeeling, close to Chowrasta Square. Darjeeling's shopping centre is a 20-minute walk away.
