Guests can experience barefoot luxury in an environment that still speaks to its past and showcases Hawai'i, as it was meant to be: There is no TV, radio or telephone in the hale. Each hale comes with a private bathroom with a shower/bathtub and a hairdryer. A mini fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and an ironing set also feature. Guests coming from Kona International Airport should turn left onto Queen Ka'ahumanu Highway 19 for approximately 9.5 km until the entrance to the Veterans Cemetery on the right-hand side of the road. Travel approximately 8 km and get into the 2nd left-hand lane on the left to turn off Queen Ka'ahumanu Highway onto Ka'upulehu Drive, which is at the Hualalai Resort entrance. Make an immediate right turn and follow the road to the resort gate (approximately 1.5 km), proceeding some 1.5 km to resort's front drive.
No children are allowed at the resort in May or September. Complimentary ground transportation from Kona International Airport to the resort is available.
