It forms part of a group of high altitude resorts and village resorts, all linked together at an altitude of between 1,250 m and 2,100 m. This resort, Plagne 1800, is one of La Plagne's former argentiferous lead mining villages, with its attractive little wooden slate-roofed houses, standing in the middle of a pine and larch forest, earning it the nickname of 'La Charmante'. It is 14 km to the TGV railway station, 35 km to Moutiers and 149 km to Geneva Airport.
The rooms come with a private bathroom with a separate WC (except in the apartment for people with reduced mobility and the studio apartments for 2 persons). The accommodation is fully equipped with a small kitchen with a minimum of 2 hotplates, a fridge, a microwave oven, a dishwasher and an electric coffeemaker as well as pay TV. Furthermore an ironing set and a vacuum cleaner are provided in all accommodation and a balcony features in most apartments.
Sports facilities available at the property include an outdoor swimming pool, health centre/gym with a sauna, a hammam and balneotherapy treatments. There is also a weights room and guests can join in stretch classes. There is a squash court and facilities for tobogganing and bowling are also available.
