Lovely well presented hotel. Friendly staff although very little English is spoken, mainly Spanish and German.
We went self catering, but eat in the restaurant twice (buffet), second time a bit disappointing but still good value. Pool was nice and clean. Health spa beautifully presented, has Jacuzzi, cold plunge pool, 2 saunas, and steam room (not working when we went) defiantly worth a visit, also offer various therapies is desired. Apartment are well presented. Kitchen stocked up well enough to cook a reasonable meal. Modern clean bathroom. Beds quite hard but fine. Safety deposit safe in room, payable as an extra at reception. Rooms clean 5 day a week with towels and bedding changed regularly. The on site shop stocking basics, on average prices are double that of the Spar which is some 800m or so along the road. WiFi is available at the apartments (at a price) or go to Fuerte Action on the main road through Costa Calma and get it for free. Apartments are situated reasonably close to the beaches which are clothing optional, quite a steep walk up hill to get back to the apartments though, so not too good for those with walking difficulties.
The apartments are situated on the outskirts of Costa Calma, so there is a bit of a walk to get to the centre, (we found it no problem), but there is a regular local bus that can be caught if desired.
Visit Oasis Safari Park makes a good day out as a break from the beach.
