The hotel is very rustic and blends into its natural surrounds of tall pine forests. This cosy and historic lodge is the largest in the park and dates back to the 1920s. The lodge offers 160 rooms in total, and guests are welcomed in a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out services. There is also a newspaper stand, cafe, bar, pub and restaurant. Guests arriving by car may leave their vehicle in the hotel's car park. The guest rooms are traditional and reminiscent of a typical hunting lodge. They have vaulted ceilings with ceiling fans but are not air-conditioned. They have either two queen beds or one king-size bed, a hairdryer and a TV. Several bungalows make up the lodge, with 4 to 16 rooms per bungalow. The setting is very rustic and woody. An en suite bathroom with shower and bathtub, a direct dial telephone, radio and individually regulated heating also feature in all bungalows as standard.
