The Mana Kai Maui Resort is located at beautiful Keawakapu Beach on South Maui's sunny coast. It is comprised of 98 individually owned condominiums. The Mana Kai Maui Hotel, LLC is an owner partnership company that manages 51 condominiums from the partnership operated offices and front desk, located on-site at the Mana Kai Maui property. As the official on-site rental program, we are able to offer many additional services to our guest. We offer daily maid service, pool towel exchange, office services and more. In addition, we are available to answer your questions and address your requests at our front desk which is open daily from 8AM to 7PM HST. The 26 employees of the Mana Kai Maui Ohana strive to perpetuate the “Aloha Spirit”. Our guests have been returning to the Mana Kai Maui for many years. Some even go back to the year we opened in 1973. Generations of visitors return annually to be greeted with Aloha by name. Just as our visitors return year after year, we have the good fortune of retaining a long time staff with a handful of employees at 20+ year's service. It is this familiarity that makes the Mana Kai a welcoming Ohana for our guest.
Keawakapu Beach (Home of the Mana Kai Maui) Keawakapu Beach faces south towards Makena and Wailea. Keawakapu is a long stretch of beach that fronts private residences. With parking and a shower at the southern most entrance, this is also a local favorite. Keawakapu Beach is a sparkling jewel set at the far southern end of South Kihei Road in South Maui. At 1/2 mile long, there's plenty of room for everyone and the beach is very popular with tourists and locals alike. Multi-million dollar houses line the shore, but they're unobtrusive and the number of people in them doesn't overwhelm the beach at all. The sand is very fine and super soft, and slopes gently into the water, producing a superior swimming experience. In the mornings you might find a glassy smooth ocean to swim in. The central entrance to Keawakapu Beach is also known to surfers as "Sidewalks" after the sidewalk you have to walk down to get to it. Keawakapu literally means "The Forbidden (or Sacred) Harbor" in Hawaiian.
