The building forms part of the Yas Marina development accompanying the new Formula One circuit. The racetrack will pass through the complex under a bridge linking the two towers of the hotel. A canopy made of steel and diamond-shaped, glass panels will be supported over the towers and bridge. Built in 2009, the air-conditioned spa complex offers 499 rooms in total and welcomes guests in a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out services, a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities, a cloakroom and lift access. Further facilities include a newspaper stand, cafe, bar and restaurant. Every room has a balcony or terrace with views of the marina or racetrack. An en suite bathroom with rain shower and bathtub, a double or king-size bed, hairdryer, direct dial telephone, radio, minibar and individually regulated air conditioning and heating also feature in all rooms as standard.
