The hotel, which was renovated in 2008, is situated in a 15th century convent, among gardens and fountains which recall a past in which Arabian and Christian influences merged. The convent was built on the orders of the Catholic Monarchs on top of a Nazrid Palace, of which important remains are still conserved, such as the Nazrid Hall. Numerous works of art and exceptional pieces of furniture decorate the cloister and the interior rooms. The dining rooms and the cool summer terrace offer exceptional views of the life of Grenada. The hotel has 40 rooms and is air conditioned. The lobby offers 24-hour reception and check-out service, a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities, a cloakroom and lift access. Dining and drinks are provided by the hotel's café, bar and restaurant. WLAN Internet access, room service, laundry service and a car park are all available to hotel guests. All rooms have beautiful views to the gardens, laminate flooring, stucco headboards, lattice windows, bath tubs with Sierra Elvira marble and lamps from Granada. They are all equipped with individually regulated air conditioning and heating, en suite bath with hairdryer, minibar, direct dial telephone, television and safe. The rooms also have Internet access and tea and coffee making facilities.
Once on the main road to Granada, access is via the ring road, avoiding the city centre and following the signs for Motril, Sierra Nevada and the Alhambra.
