The residence was built in the 19th century from the magnificent remnants of King Sebban's former palace. Located in the heart of the Medina, the hotel retains the authenticity of its three patios, its zouakÚs, its frescoes carved in the plaster ceilings, its stained glass windows and its zellige terra cotta tilework. The various parts of the hotel are all steeped in history and the spacious rooms and suites are furnished with Oriental antiques.
