Location and Resort:
Positano is a town of elegance. Skilled tailors and master cobblers vie for trade at over 50 boutiques and visitors travel from around the country to buy made to measure, hand crafted outfits, shoes and memorabilia. Protected from the northern winds by the Lattari Mountains, the climate is generally mild and dry. Photo opportunities are plentiful in this interestingly structured town; as its buildings cling to the rock face and small houses huddle together, the vibrancy of the colours and cultural delights bring out the artist in everyone. The hotel`s concierge will be pleased to advise guests on the best way to discover Positano and the surrounding towns and will arrange taxis or private limos, excursion tickets to the ruins of Pompeii or water transport tickets from the pier outside the hotel, to the island of Capri. Because of the town`s structure car parking is limited. The Covo Dei Saraceni, town centre and beach are located in pedestrian zones, so cars have to be left about 600 metre walk from the hotel, but porter service can be requested.
Eating and Drinking:
A delicious buffet and freshly baked pastries are served for breakfast in the "Bougainville Salon" on the first floor overlooking the coast, whilst freshly baked pizzas and Neapolitan cuisine can be enjoyed in the evening. With equally spectacular views, a romantic dinner may be enjoyed at the "Restaurant Savino" on the ground floor, of freshly caught fish, handmade pasta and other local delicacies. There is a bar in the lobby and from 8am to 11pm the "Bar Covo" serves light snacks and pastries, as well as a full bar service. Drinks and snacks are also available by the pool.
Jutting out over the beach, enjoy the most stunning views from the rooftop sea water pool which is open between 9am and 6pm.
