Operated by the largest budget hotel chain in Singapore, this 4-storey, 81-room city hotel opened its doors in 1995. Restored from a conserved building with distinct pre-Second World War architectural design, the hotel is fully air-conditioned and offers comfortable and clean accommodation for the budget-minded traveller. The hotel has a lobby area with a 24-hour reception, hotel safe, laundry service (for a fee) and parking facilities. Although there is no Internet access at the hotel, there is an Internet café just two doors away from the hotel.The hotel has a 24-hour reception counter and also a simple and basic business centre. Although the hotel does not have a car park, guests can always park their vehicles in the public car park just opposite the hotel (for a fee).The hotel rooms, including triple and family rooms, feature individually adjustable air conditioning, an attached bathroom with a shower, heater and a hairdryer, and basic amenities such as a TV, direct dial telephone, mini fridge and tea and coffee making facilities in all rooms. The superior and twin rooms offer either two single beds or one queen-size bed. Rooms come with a window and non-smoking rooms are subject to request and availability. As there is only one disabled-friendly room in the hotel it is also subject to request and availability.
From the airport, a 20-minute taxi ride, via the city expressway, will bring guests to the hotel. The MRT (subway) connection from the airport can bring one to the nearest station, Paya Lebar MRT Station, and a short taxi or bus ride will bring guests to the hotel.
