The hotel is one of the rarest and finest examples of a golden teak, Thai-style bungalow house and was awarded the prestigious Historical Architectural Conservation Award in 2005 by the Association of Siamese Architects (ASA) under the Royal Patronage. It stands as a small exclusive luxury beach hotel offering the charm of a traditional Thai aristocratic beach house. The hotel has a total of 21 guest rooms and features a lobby with a 24-hour reception service, as well as a hotel safe. There is an on-site café and WLAN Internet access is available to guests for an additional fee. Room and laundry services are provided, whilst guests arriving by car may leave their vehicles in the hotel's own private car park.To preserve the quality and condition of the wooden floors, shoes must not be worn in any of the 3 suites.All guest rooms feature genuine wooden floors and have been designed in line with the hotel's Thai colonial architecture. The atmosphere is cosy, quiet and serene and the rooms are all en suite with bathtub and hairdryer. Each room includes a direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, minibar, tea and coffee making facilities and a safe. DVD players are also offered in every room. The distance from the nearest airport to the hotel is approximately 20 minutes by car. The main entrance is located on the Phetkasem main road and is easily accessible. Public transport to either the night market or town centre is available close to the main entrance.
