Mediterraneo Benidorm Hotel

We had good time at the hotel. Everything was up to high standard. All the visitors of the hotel were either families with kids or couples, for a peaceful relaxing holiday it's OK, but if you are singles and looking for partying it is not the best place.

This was our fourth stay at the Mediterraneo. We have always found the staff very friendly, especially the ladies who care for the room. However we cannot say the same for the staff who managed the front desk. Though they were helpful, we have always found them to very unfriendly and therefore not very approachable. An example of this is when we arrived on the first day of our visit. It would have been nice for the staff who greeted us to welcome us to the hotel and perhaps enquire about our journey and to wish us an enjoyable stay. To my knowledge this has never been done, which is surprising when all remaining staff are always so very friendly. Also our stay would have been more enjoyable if there was an English station on the TV except for sky news, bbc world and euro sport! There were available programmes in German, Swiss and Italian! Perhaps this is something that could be suggested to hotel management as perhaps over 70% of those who were at the hotel with us were English speaking.

The Hotel Mediterraneo was fabulous. The staff were friendly, the rooms were huge and everywhere was spotlessly clean. The food was lovely with plenty of variety and something to suit everyone. This hotel was just out of the centre but had plenty of bars and a few shops nearby. Just two minutes down the road was a 24 hour supermarket which was very reasonably priced. If you fancied a night in town the guys behind reception were more than willing to order taxis for you and even though we didn't book with a rep, they were really friendly and helpful and even got us on a free coach trip. We even got a picnic to take with us. My only gripe was that the evening entertainment wasn't really up to much unless you liked kids disco or bingo but then with plenty of drink flowing we made our own entertainment anyway! Overall an extremely nice hotel and highly i'd recommend to anyone.

This is my second time at this hotel and on both occassions I found the facilities and services to be at a good standard. Indoor pool was a major plus, as the weather was unpredictable. The location was good, as it's within walking distance of the resort, but quiet at the same time.
