The hotel itself was ok! We only paid £60 for 5 nights and it was great value! Only problem was the rooms has no air con in it at all! And we had no balcony! Meaning we sweated the whole night due to the fact there was no air! Apart from that, the room itself was cleaned every day, clean sheets every day! The food is basic. All Inc was a waste of money as there wasn't much choice at all! It's about a ten min walk to Playa del Ingles! And 15 to yumbo, taxis are cheap if u get a nice driver! If u do stay at Corona then ask for a balcony as u will need it with the heat over there! Overall nice hotel! But I wouldn't return! ;-)

Quite anxious about going to this hotel as I read some bad reviews a few weeks after we booked it. However, on arrival the reception area was clean and spacious. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a twin and it was basic, but a decent size room with an en suite shower/toilet, which was again very basic. There was a small kitchen area with a sink, and a two ring cooker/hob. The view from the window was a land view, near an intersection/motorway however you were aware of the traffic in the distance but it did not cause any inconvienence. There was also a view of the pool. The swimming pool was basic but there was also a small pool for younger children, which again was basic. Overall for the price per person to stay in the hotel self catering this was fantastic value for money approx 80 per person for a week. We did not stay in or around the hotel much as we both enjoyed other activities the island had to offer. It's very basic but clean and a little outdated but well worth the money. It is also located in an out of the way area of play del ingles which has the advantage of being near to everything. The question is would I go there again? For a cheap holiday in the sun: YES! I've already booked!

The hotel itself was good, but at opposite end of Playa del Ingles than I had expected. It was an 18-30 hotel and some of the behaviour of younger guests was horrific. By the pool, constant swearing and kicking balls about, thus I only went to pool area twice. The hotel was noisy constantly during the night, with people coming and going. The room was very basic, didn't even have a kettle, but this could be hired at extra cost. The room I was in (215) was above the refuse area and this was noisy most mornings around 4am. Basically if I wanted sleep, I had to do it during the day. The hotel was spotless clean. Would only recommend this for younger people as it was a bit rowdy - the police were even called in one night.
