Built in 1602, the historical hotel was visited by Queen Anne in 1704 and her coat of arms is displayed above the door. A sense of history pervades the building, with its large open fire, oak beams and courtyard, while the 24 rooms, function suite and business facilities have all been refurbished in 2012.
