This two-storey 3-room hotel has been restored to retain its charm and comfort, keeping the wooden ceilings and adding details that have made the house cosy and very comfortable. Downstairs there is a large hall, kitchen and a living room with a fireplace. The master bedroom features a full bath and hot tub, toilet with shower and there is a games room with pool/snooker, darts and table games and a garden with barbecue. On the first floor, there is a small hall, two double bedrooms and an attic. In addition to a lobby area with 24-hour reception and check-out services and a cloakroom, further facilities available to guests at this rural house include a TV lounge, dining room, wired and wireless Internet access, a cellar for storing bicycles and a bike hire service. Car parking spaces and a garage are on hand for those arriving by car (the latter for a fee). A kids' club is available for a charge and younger guests can let off some steam at the children's playground.
Within a radius of 100 km around the house are 4 parks and nature preserves, dozens of enclaves and prehistoric forts, three World Heritage Sites, 13 historic-artistic and 3 historical villages of Portugal, about twenty castles and some of the best fortifications of the peninsula and dozens of museums and interpretation centres on a variety of topics. The Atlantic is about 2 hours from the hotel and the varied climate in the region makes for a pleasant climate all year round, only about 30 km from the house. Various restaurants, bars, pubs, nightspots, the bus station and shopping venues are approximately 2 minutes away from the accommodation.
