The hotel is located on Tamborine Mountain in the Gold Coast Hinterland, 1 hour's drive from Brisbane and 40 minutes from Surfers Paradise. The property enjoys a great location to discover the local flora and fauna in a relaxed environment and also offers a lot for food and wine lovers travelling the Great Sunshine Way with its many restaurants, wineries and coffee shops. Next door guests will find Witches Falls National Park, the oldest National Park in Queensland, which invites visitors to explore the rainforest and local fauna and flora. Guests can walk to wineries, antique shops or the picturesque village and have a chat to the friendly locals. The Gold Coast Airport is located some 60 km from the hotel.
Each cottage has reverse cycled air conditioning, a stone gable, bullnose veranda and features polished timber floors, a cosy fireplace and a double spa with an indoor/outdoor feel with the en suite bathroom with a shower, bath and hairdryer opening to a private garden and glass roof which allows watching the stars from the spa. Inside the cottage the bedroom area is up a couple of stairs separating it from the lounge area. As well as the comfy seating, the cottage lounge is fully equipped with everything guests need for a perfect getaway, a CD player/radio for music, a TV and DVD player to enjoy a movie, and a kitchenette with a microwave and a mini fridge to prepare and serve food to enjoy in front of a log fireplace. For those balmy summer evenings each cottage was given its own private courtyard garden which has a covered BBQ and dining area, a great spot for dinner, breakfast or just a glass of wine while watching the stars. Internet access, tea and coffee making facilities, an ironing set and heating all feature as standard in each cottage.

One of property's specialties is breakfast hampers served at the cottage each morning. Sumptuous BBQ dinner hampers can be provided on request or guests are welcome to bring their own provisions.

When driving south from Brisbane, exit the motorway at the Oxenford turn-off - exit 57 - and drive along the Oxenford-Tamborine road until getting to the top of the plateau. When driving north from Coolangatta, exit the motorway at the Nerang turn-off - exit 71 - and drive along the Nerang-Beaudesert Road until seeing Henri Robert Drive and the sign to Tamborine Mountain. Follow this until reaching the top of the plateau and continue on this road until the Hartley Road on the right. The entrance is on Hartley Road, just off Main Western Road and adjacent to the Witches Falls Section of Tamborine Mountain National Park.
