Couvet is located in the green and quiet Val-de-Travers, a valley of the Jura mountains, which is positioned perpenducular to Lake Neuchatel. It's famous for clock industry and being the historical birthplace of absinthe. The city of Neuchatel is at 20 km distance. The hotel is situated in the center of the village and main attractions like Asphalt Mines, Absinthe Distilleries and gorges of Poeta-Raisse are even reachable in a few minutes walk. Areuse Gorges and the Jura-Grand Canyon Creux-du-Van are at about 10 km.

From motorway A5 take exit 8-Areuse and in the roundabout direction Bole and Val-de-Travers. Arriving in Couvet stay on the mainroad for 650 m then turn left into Grand'Rue. The hotel is on the right side after 50 m. By train from Neuchatel take a Regional train direction Buttes. The travel time is 32 min. From the station cross the river, turn left and 80 m after right into Grand'Rue. The hotel is on the left after 350 m and a 5 min walk.
Reception is open from Monday to Friday from 6:15 am to 11 pm. During the weekend please check-in passing by the restaurant (open until midnight).
