The hotel is situated off State Highway 12. Guests should just take State Highway 1 north from Auckland and keep driving. Then they should turn left at the start of the Brynderwyn Hills onto the Dargaville Road, which is State Highway 12 and then drive through Dargaville and the Waipoua Forest. When they crest Pakia hill and see the Hokianga Harbour and golden sand dunes spread out in fron of them, then they know they've arrived.
