This delightful small highland country inn-style hotel was formerly a historic coaching inn and dates back to 1800. The authentic country inn offers a distinctly highland atmosphere and charm and comprises a total of 13 guest rooms spread across 4 storeys. Guests are welcomed into a lobby with hotel safe and currency exchange facilities and a cloakroom. On site facilities include a hairdressing salon, a bar, a pub and a restaurant. Business guests will appreciate the conference facilities and WLAN Internet access and room and laundry services are also provided. Guests arriving by car can leave their vehicles in the car park or parking garage, whilst those wishing to explore the local surroundings can hire bikes from reception. Children can let off some steam at the playground.
This charming business and conference hotel is situated at the foot of Weem Rock, near Aberfeldy, in what is almost exactly the centre point of Scotland in Highland Perthshire. The historic coach inn is next door to Castle Menzies and close to Loch Tay, the River Tay and Glen Lyon. The centre of Aberfeldy is just a 6-minute walk from the accommodation and there guests will find shops, a park and links to the public transport network. Restaurants and bars/pubs can be found on site, whilst the nearest nightlife spots are just under 20 km away in Pitlochry. Perth is approximately 30 km away and a number of attractions can be found nearby, including the House of Menzies (1 km) and Pitlochry Theatre (19 km). The nearest train station is in Pitlochry.
The hotel offers one large family room, one single room and 11 other spacious en suite rooms with zip-and-link beds, which can be used as either twin or double beds as needs require. Each room has been individually decorated, using high quality fabrics and furnishings and in-room amenities include a direct dial telephone, a radio, Internet access, a TV, a safety deposit box and tea and coffee making facilities. The en suite bathrooms feature a bathtub/shower and hairdryer and other facilities include heating, an ironing set and a terrace.
Guests can enjoy action-packed indoor and outdoor activities, adventure sports and pursuits all-year-round. Activities range from sensational walking (for all levels), watersports (waterskiing, jet skiing, motor boating, windsurfing, sailing, catamaran boating) and the best rafting and kayaking in Scotland, to clay pigeon shooting, quad biking, archery, adventure safaris and 4x4 driving. Guests can go loch and river fishing or can play a round of golf at the course, which is just 550 metres from the accommodation. Fees may apply to all the activities named above. Parasols are provided at the inn and guests can also play tennis or, in the case of good weather, relax on the sun terrace. For an additional charge, guests can participate in the entertainment programmes, which are provided for both adults and children.
A delicious Scottish breakfast and breakfast buffets are always available. The hotel restaurant caters for all special diets and serves lunch and dinner from set and á la carte menus. A buffet is served at lunchtime.

From the south and Perth - Edinburgh, Edinburgh Airport and Glasgow: Take the A80/M80/M9 signposted to Perth and drive to the outskirts of Perth (Broxden roundabout). Head north on the A9 (signposted for Inverness) for 30.5 km and then take the Aberfeldy turnoff at Ballinluig. Follow the signs to Aberfeldy. Upon reaching the town head up to the main street, through the square and continue until reaching the traffic lights. Watch for the signs to Kinloch Rannoch. Turn right at the traffic lights and down towards Wades Bridge, cross the bridge (Aberfeldy Golf Club is on the right) and the hotel is on the right-hand side of the road just past the Ailean Chraggan Hotel on the right.
The latest check-in is at 10 pm and guests are required to check out by 11 am. The reception desk is fully manned from 7.30 am to 11.30 pm. Well-behaved pets and children of all ages are welcome.
