Sharm El Sheikh - Brilliant Summer Temperatures

Sharm El Sheikh benefits from daily warm weather. During the summer, temperatures can be as high as 43°C during the day and drop to 7°C at night. The average minimum temperature in the winter is 14°C and in the summer it is 30°C although it can reach a lot higher than this. There is little rainfall in the resort and when it does rain it normally clears up very quickly. June, July and August are the warmest months in Sharm El Sheikh with December being the coldest. However, December still occasionally gets a high of 20.5°C. In the winter months you will still get 7-8 hours of sunshine a day and 12 in the Summer.

Obviously, the Hotel is not 4* by British standards, but for the amount we paid for this fully inclusive break I have nothing but positive comments, which are reflected by my star ratings. It is a hidden gem not yet discovered by many British holiday makers (there were only 12 of us!). This added to the excellent service and VIP treatment we received by all of the staff. "Enjoyed two weeks here in January. Arrived with some reservations, especially about the food. However, our concerns were unfounded. Service was good. The food was perfectly acceptable with a good variety always. Simply put, if you can't do without fish and chips, stay at home. The only fault was that the large pool was unheated, hence VERY cold and hardly anyone was brave enough to use it. Would definitely come again. "

"Spent 2 weeks at the Concorde El Salam. The reception staff were always there to help and very friendly and helpful. We stayed in 8177, overlooking two palm trees and the pool. Plenty of storage (bring hangers). Quite happy with the room. Sheets and towels changed everyday if requested and the room cleaned daily. The restaurant had a wide variety of dishes, so there was something for everyone, again no complaints there and the chefs and waiters couldnt do enough for you and would prepare certain dishes on request. The waiters were friendly, professional and attentive. The pool was always clean, the bar staff and the towel staff again very cheery and friendly. All Egyptians are like that - they are an incredible race of people. There were activities every day around the pool, including water polo, water aerobics and volley ball next to pool. Entertainment was OK, some of the usual \\'Mr & Mrs\\' and the like with the animation team, belly dancers and music, so there was always something there for everyone. Free shuttle bus to Naama Bay, day and night. Also, a shuttle bus to the main hotel and beach every 15 mins. I loved this holiday and would certainly return to the Concorde again."

"Like so many other people, I had massive reservations on this hotel, but it was great - especially for the price. The room was clean, although I never had 'towel animals'. The staff were fantastic, especially Ahmed, Imram & Mustaffa. The food was generally OK but the cakes were amazing. Main downfalls were they kept running out of fruit juice, must have been all the che che's & planters punch, but after the 2nd time they should have realised & stocked up. I had a lovely holiday and would definitely recomend this hotel to anyone looking for a good value for money hotel."

Kiroseiz Three Corners Resort & Beach Bungalows
"On arrival, we were upgraded to the hotel accommodation from the beach bungalows. I was glad that we were able to do this, as the beach bungalows were very small and were miles away from anywhere. The hotel was spot on, apart from a couple of small points. The beer was served in small plastic cups, the type you get from coffee machines, they held approx 1/3 of a pint, so you had to keep going back to the bar every 2 mins! The all inclusive drinks ended at bang on midnight! The Waves bar was hectic at last orders and the bar staff all disappear on purpose. We were drinking white wine one day and noticed there was sugar in it. We think this was to make the taste more acceptable. Water - or lack of it. The water was obtained from dispensers dotted around the complex, but these were either empty or the water was warm! People were carrying big plastic bottles around to get the water as soon as it was replenished! The animation team work hard, however their shows leave a lot to be desired (sorry Mizo). Apart from that, the pools, the staff, the food and the rooms were all very good. A must is the Sunset Cruise for €15. You can't beat it!"
