Latchi – located in the north west corner of Cyprus

Latchi is the perfect resort for middle-aged couples. Many families are also seen in the resort as it is a nice relaxing place for them to spend time together. Transfers from Paphos International airport take around 1 hour and 15 minutes. This gives you plenty of time to look at the scenery of Latchi as well as gain an understanding of the location of your resort and your accommodation within the resort. There are several beaches in Latchi which are prefect for going swimming. They are covered with fine sand and you will find sunbeds and parasols available to hire. You will find aparthotels and hotels in Latchi. They are all of a high standard and offer everything from self-catering to all-inclusive. Flights to Paphos take approximately 4.5 hours.

Latchi – plenty of water sports for you to choose from

Latchi is the perfect resort for water sports as it has such clean sea water. You will find windsurfing, snorkelling, scuba diving, surfing, water-skiing, jet-skiing, parasailing, sailing and fishing in Latchi. There are also plenty of boat trips for you to go on. Latchi is home to a lot of scenery and nature, making it perfect for trekking and nature walks. There are plenty of organised nature walks for you to enjoy. If you enjoy excursions, then why not try visiting Nicosia, the capital of Cyprus, or go on a Paphos history tour? There are also plenty of daily boat trips along the coast for you to enjoy.

Latchi – traditional places to eat and drink

Latchi is home to some brilliant restaurants with a lot of traditional cuisine that comes highly recommended. A favourite in Latchi is seafood. There are some brilliant seafood restaurants for you to choose from which many people enjoy. There are a few bars for you to enjoy as well which are not open all night but give you some light evening entertainment. There is also a disco for those of you that do want a slightly livelier evening. There are plenty of souvenir shops for you to choose from to find things to take home to others. Public transport is limited but it is there. There are services into Paphos, however you're best off getting a taxi.

Latchi – brilliant summer weather

Latchi is a very hot resort with temperatures sometimes reaching above 40°C. You are guaranteed to need high factor sun cream when visiting this destination. July and August are the hottest months in Latchi with average temperatures of 35°C. You will also have 13 hours of pure sunshine a day. Winters are very short and mild with January and February being the coldest months. Even though they are cold, they still have temperatures of at least 15°C. Rainfall only occurs 40 days out of the year but this is very short lived and the sun still tends to shine. There is not always a breeze in Latchi so many people decide to keep to the shade at times. The temperature will not fall below 30°C from June to September, leaving you with warm sea temperatures, making it perfect for water sports. The night also remains warm so it is advised that you get air conditioning in your accommodation.
