Playa De Muro - One of the newest resort destinations

Located on the north coast of Majorca, Playa De Muro is inbetween Alcudia and and Picafort. The transfer time is around one and a half hours meaning there is plenty of time for you to get your bearings. The resort is very popular amongst couples and families and its 8km of white sandy beaches are a definite attraction for them. There is a Labyrinth Giant Wooden Maze in Playa De Muro that can be a lot of fun for people of all ages. It is rare for anyone to find their way out of the football pitch sized maze within 45 minutes. In order to get out of the maze during the day, you must collect various things and get wet from the sprinkler system, whereas at night there is a chance that you will be chased by swamp monsters and ghosts. There are plenty of water sports for you to try such as jet-skiing, windsurfing and scuba diving. You can also try your hand at karting, tennis, horse-riding, bird-watching and cycling. There are boat trips to go on where you will be able to swim in the water, drink from the bar and eat lunch.

There is a market open every Saturday in the resort selling fruit, vegetables, flowers and craft goods. There are a lot of fiestas that occur throughout the year in Playa De Muro and Alcudia. There are a few bars and clubs in the resort that include cocktails, dances and various different themes. There are a few restaurants in the area offering Italian, Spanish, Indian and English cuisines. The nightlife is fairly busy and if you do not want to be in the busy bars or clubs then most of the hotels in the area offer family entertainment.

The weather is very Mediterranean with very hot temperatures in the summer and cooler in the winter. Even in winter, temperatres are comfortable. Most of the rainfall in the resort is from September to November. The summers in Playa De Muro and very dry and warm whereas the winters tend to be mild with some rainfall. Winter temperatures rarely fall below 10°C. Summer temperatures tend to peak in the high 20\\\'s.
