Es Cana - The perfect family resort

Es Cana is the perfect family resort with hot, sunny weather, gorgeous beaches and brilliant views from the beach side bars. Es Cana is located on the north-east coast of Ibiza and you get brilliant views of the sea, wooded hills, white sands and crystal clear waters. The beach is perfectly safe for those with young children as it does provide shelter from the bright sunlight in some areas. There are some shallow waters for children as well which is good as they are guaranteed to spend a long time in the warm water. The original harbour still exists, along with many fishing boats for you to look at as you walk along.

Es Cana - filled with water sports

As in many of the resorts in Ibiza, there are water sports available. The water sports include para-gliding, jet skiing, scuba diving, snorkelling, windsurfing and water skiing. You can also enjoy games of tennis in the resort, or take long walks along the coastline or around the resort. It is a very scenic resort, espeically at night when it is all lit up. There is also plenty of shopping for you to enjoy and a modest nightlife to enjoy. The famous Hippy market is something for you to enjoy every Wednesday during the summer, which offers jewellery, posters and clothing. The are many boat trips taking you to different resorts and island that run daily.

Es Cana - plenty to enjoy in the picturesque resort

There are many restaurants, bars and shops for you to enjoy on your holiday. The bars offer a wide selection of music for your pleasure, as do many of the hotels. This is not the resort to visit if you are looking for a lively holiday as it is very quiet and relaxed, which is why it is perfect for families. The only real activites going on in Es Cana are the water sports, but if you are looking for something more then a trip to the Aquamar or the casino is definitely recommended. The beaches are all supervised by lifeguards which is an extra help at putting your mind at ease. When it comes to food, there are many cusines to choose from, offering everything from salad to fish to steak. There is plenty of accommodation for you to choose from such as hotels, apartments, villas and even hostels. The Es Cana festical day is very popular with a firework display and this takes place on July 10th every year. Again, there are no banks, however ther is one credit card ATM, but most hotels will change your money for you.

Es Cana - brilliantly blue skies

The weather in Es Cana is hot, dry and sunny. There are usually clear blue skies and temperatures rising above 30º C. It is the perfect weather for those who wish to lay on the beach topping up their tans. The highest temperatures will be found in July and August and the coldest in December and January. January sees the least sunlight, with August seeing the most. It is the perfect resort to visit in the summer if you are looking for a relaxing holiday. Again, jumpers may be needed in the winter months, but other than that you shouldn\'t really need one.
